We Did Get Weather!

Tom Skilling said we will get 12 to 16 more inches tonight into tomorrow morning! I was pooh-poohing the forecast because the local weather men were forecasting such huge numbers of inches of snow but I guess sometimes they are right! We got about 7 inches overnight and the big stuff will be later 0n tonight!

It sure is pretty so far though...

This is Ed sound asleep on the new cat bed I bought. It is a flat fleece bed with a gel inside that heats up to the cat's (or dog's) body temperature.

This is a really slick bed and so far it has been very popular with the little white dog. Cats haven't had a chance to get on it but I think they are going to love it too!

OK, here is the Shapely Shawlette so far. It is being worked in this lovely rickrack kind of yarn and the colors are very autumnal. It is a fun pattern and pretty easy to follow. I am going to make it a little larger as I have pretty wide shoulders.

OOOH, I just got a phone call from the VP of our church governing board and church is being canceled for tomorrow! This seems really wise to me. It is way too dangerous for people to try to drive out in this kind of weather. There will be strong winds tonight and tomorrow morning with gusts up to 40 mph so that makes it even worse!
