Starting Projects

I know it is crazy, I have soo many projects I am working on. My Darned Shelagh sweater, which is really a nice design, I don't know why I can't stick to it. The toe up knee socks for someone else. A baby sweater for Susan's Fiber Shop-just needs the second sleeve and it is finished. Embroidered flour sack dish towels with tea pots on them-the first of five half finished.

And then there are the "old" projects. My bog jacket-over half finished. A sweater for my mother-just needs half of one sleeve and the whole other sleeve. I even found a lovely shawl in some lovely golden brown-just needs the edging. Also a Shetland shawl in that great mauve stuff that I bought TWO cones of-can't find the pattern, so I am lost as to where I even am in the pattern.

I have so many forgotten projects that just need to be ripped out-I could spend a week just ripping and organizing the never to be finished.

So you do see where this is going, don't you? Yeah, I started a knit along project!!! It is the SECRET OF THE STOLE KAL done in some of the mauve Shetland wool that I have in pounds!

I don't know why I do this, but I get bored with what I am currently working on and then something catches my eye and I start something new. Can't seem to stop myself. I am suffering from Too Many Projects Attention Deficit Disorder! Yes people, I have TMPADD. Woo, now that it has an acronym maybe all will be well. A little research and a foundation and I may still lead a normal life...for me!

Well anyhow, here is a picture of something I actually finished. This is a toy based on my lilac point Siamese cat, Iris. What do you think??

Made her up as I knit her and I think she is pretty funny. Tell me what you think...her eyes are freshwater pearls and she is knit with Cascade 220 and Karabella mohair. My sons don't think she is quite fuzzy enough.
Well, that is all from here as I go try to get something FINISHED!!

She looks just like IRiS! Playful, yet sophisticated. I am so glad you finished her. I have not really had TMPADD lately, but I have had many bouts of it in the past. And I am sure I will in the future!

I also have TMPADD and signed up for secret of the stole. I haven't started yet, because I have to wind the yarn. *sigh* no swift here!
