Taking a Break

I am going on a little hiatus from blogging as I am scheduled to have surgery on Monday and won't be available to the computer for a time. I am hoping that it will just be laparoscopy but they don't know if they will have to open me up further or not! Hope that isn't TMI for you all!

Anyway, here are a couple of things I am just finished with:

This sweater is for Susan's Fiber Shop. The yarn is a self patterning yarn called Classic Worsted Tapestry by Universal Yarn and the sweater pattern is called Painted Dancer. It was a nice simple pattern but shows the yarn off nicely. I still have to crochet ties for the bottom ribbing edges.

I also found a scarf I had been knitting in the attic. I started this about, are you ready for this??-THREE YEARS AGO! It must have gotten shuffled to the back of my yarn bags and so I never finished it until now! Yay! It is knit with double strands of Misti Alpaca in a nice chocolate brown.

This is the Branching Out Scarf from Knitty. It was a very nice pattern to knit, so I have no idea why it took me THREE YEARS to knit it!!

I found this neat pattern that I have on my list of things to knit:

The pattern is from Lisa Souza Knitwear Called Twist & Lace. It looks really lovely to me so I will work on it soon I hope-not in three years....
