I am knitting it in Heilo that I got on sale from Loose Ends Yarn Shop in a nice deep blue. it is coming along nicely and is really VERY mindless.
I have not picked up my Shelagh sweater since surgery but will get back to that soon. I had started the Mystery of the Stole KAL and finished the first hint and printed out the second hint but, that takes real concentration and I am just not up to that right now.
I start Chemo treatments on Monday so I will loose my hair in a couple of weeks so I suppose I should do something about hats for a while and I will have to look into wigs too I suppose....
Hey, on a lighter note, what is your favorite funny movie? Laugh out loud or witty and amusing?
Pie in the face slapstick or really funny dialogue? I think that will be part of my therapy to watch funny movies. I must say that my taste in funny movies is different from my son's taste. They think pretty gross, sophomoric things are funny and I really don't think that passing gas is eternally funny but That May Just Be Me! Anyhow-comment and tell me what you like-maybe I can get some new titles that will be a wonderful find, or maybe I will be reminded of the really funny ones I had forgotten!
Talk to you soon,
Lynda

Bueller?...Bueller? Always makes me laugh!
I love "What about Bob?" There is a line about peace and quiet that makes my LOL every time.
Two more:
"Moonstruck"
"Young Frankenstein"
Can you tell I like comedies?
Yeah Ferris Bueller is one of the greats. I love Young Frankenstein and I don't thinks that Bill Murray has made a mistake in film in 20 years. What about Groundhog day?
I liked Groundhog Day.
Some others I liked:
Ghostbusters
Hot Shots!
War of the Roses (a bit dark though)
A Fish Called Wanda , Fierce Creatures
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Robin Hood: Men in Tights
Trapped in Paradise
I haven't checked your blog for a while. Sorry to hear about the cancer. My favorite funny movies are "Snatch"--witty and "O Brother Where art Thou" You like the Coen Brothers movies, anyway, don't you?
Was stunned to see your latest posts discussing chemo so I searched back to see what happened. Yes, it's been far too long since I had time to check blog posts. Will certainly keep good thoughts for you!
As far as funny movies go, I love those old Cary Grant movies like Arsenic and Old Lace and Bringing Up Baby.
Knit On!
