Well here is the shawl being model by my friend Val at Crafting this morning. It is a pretty thing and I think I will use it-although the wedding is being held outside and the predicted temperature is in the 90's Fahrenheit! Not a nice thing! It was fun to knit and turned out nice, if I do say so myself...
Here is a picture of some hand spun yarn that I crock dyed Wednesday. The yarn was a soft grey and I used Country Classics Cherry to get this:
Also Donna T. had gone to an auction or was it an estate sale? Well, anyway she bought a box of lace for $2 and it had all this antique and handmade lace in it. Here is some that she gave me:Lovely stuff from a home economics teacher who had recently had a stroke and was now living in a nursing home. Donna went and visited her and gave her back some of the things she bought as the woman might want to finish them or find someone else who would! What a sweetie...
Well that's all from here.
Talk to you later,
Lynda
