Convalescent Post

Well, I am going to try to get back in the swing of talking to you all every other day or two. My surgery turned out to be a full abdominal thing and I have an incision from two inches above my belly button to my pubic bone! Quite the thing! Also I have fallopian cancer. Very rare and they are quite encouraged that it is the primary site and quite early on. I must say, I didn't think it was cancer so I am surprised and I feel very lucky that they went in and looked for it! It is a cancer with very little in the way of symptoms so it is good that it was caught pretty early.

At this point I don't feel any different and so it is odd to say, "I have cancer." I don't intend to bore you with much in the way of medical stuff but I am feeling good about just saying what is going on with me and we will go from there!
My knitting has been very simple-mostly garter or stockingette patterns and not for very long as my concentration in shot right now. But isn't this pretty? It is a Jackie E-S pattern and looks like something very wearable. Well soon when I can actually pay attention to a pattern, I will try this.

Hey I will talk to you real soon!
