I woke up this morning feeling really good and thinking, "I am going to get through this chemo crap!" I am settling into a routine which includes many naps, and this from a person who never napped because then I couldn't sleep at night. Well, that is not a problem any more!
It is grey and foggy here today and we will be getting weather later today but somehow I feel just great. Happy! Don't know for sure why but I am going to enjoy it and get the Christmas tree up today! Both boys are at home and with their help we should be able to get decorated. That should entertain Iris (the cat) for a week or two as well!
I spend a lot of time in my pajamas, and I love that too. Not that I don't get dressed every day, I think that is important too. But the comfort of soft clothes is nothing to pooh pooh either.
Not doing any cookie baking or fruit cake. Usually I take dozens to Mom's house but I just haven't the stamina and I bet there will be enough to eat anyhow. Makes it all such a calm Christmas. Maybe a lesson to be learned here???
Hope your preparations aren't too strenuous.
Try to enjoy the family and quiet times too!
Love,
Lynda
