I also saw this sock completed and it is lovely! Can't wait to get started knitting out of the nice book. There are some great socks in this compilation so it will be a reference book for some time to come, I think.


It was so nice to spend a little time with Michele and Betty and Mary Kay yesterday at the shop. I don't get to hang out with Michele as much as I would like. It is hard work and takes a lot of time to run a business and make it as successful as Loose Ends.








I started knitting a sweater pattern from the Garter Belt an online pattern store. It is called Shelagh and looks like fun to wear. It is fun to knit so far...










Wouldn't these hats be nice to knit with some beautiful handspun yarn? They are Icelandic hats-can't you just see a gnome wearing one?
