String Alongs Christmas Party

I am looking forward to the String Alongs party Monday evening! It is such a fun party-great friends and food and drink! And we exchange gifts-you bring something and you pick something out! I've been working on my gift and I'm really kind of excited! Hope the exchange person will love it....

On a somewhat similar note, I have some knitting still to finish for Christmas. I got a break on the sweaters for Janet as she doesn't need them until after Christmas. I have to make more sheep and finish two pair of fingerless mitts and then I think I might be done! I am going to be able to finish this stuff on time. What a relief-

Our friends Susan and Holly and Pat were going to the Nutcracker last night at the Overture Center in Madison and it started me thinking about the wonderful music of the ballet...

We used to go when the kids were small but i don't think I could drag them to a ballet any more-Too Bad! I really miss making that a part of our Christmas traditions.

I really love this time of year! All the planning and parties. Making sure to see all my friends and family. My nephew Andrew who lives in Florida is coming home soon. Can't wait to see him and my sisters and all their families. We have a brand new grand-nephew named Cameron Gene. I can't wait to meet him. Another of my nieces is graduating from college today!
Really it is all good!
Well, I am off to knit,
Talk to you later,
Lynda

If a dog jumps on you it's because you smell like food.

At least at our place!

Have a good party!
